A pal of an friend had her first child leave the nest. She did it somewhat too early, left before graduating from senior high school to look live with some boy. The daughter did get her GED and fortunately isn’t pregnant. Despite the silver lining of moving out of a dysfunctional home, the daughter just isn’t making use of her life. She has no job, doesn’t even try for just one, lives off her husband’s meager income and spends money like its water. Consequently you’ll find frequent calls the place to find mom and dad begging for the money to pay the rent, the utilities and in many cases groceries. Yet they’ve got many computer toys, games and movies whenever they want.

Being a parent of small children I look at this situation and continue to learn traditional hunting had. My first lesson are these claims: no matter how hard it really is, I cannot keep support an ungrateful lazy child so she can squander everything I be employed by only to play house two states away. I realize that some lessons need to be learned the hard way. It would be extremely tough will tell my child, “no, I will not send you food money. You have to get a job.” It might be very tough. But it’s something that should be done to ensure that that child to master that own life is hard and you also cannot suck your parents dry. That poor daughter is extremely immature and so as to keep her from disappearing using their life completely they continue to feed her habits. But this only serves to destroy the potential because of this young woman to learn to lead a fantastic life. I honestly can’t imagine what she does 24 hours a day with no job, but her Facebook account references frequent shopping trips and she comes home with useless junk. I’m guessing it’s all funded by mommy and daddy.

Take this like a lesson in case you are a parent or gaurdian. Should you give your kids free license to abuse you chances are they’ll. Should your kids continue to be really young spend some time to show them about life’s responsibilities and back it with actions, not simply words. Every day life is hard and it’s not only a free ride. The lessons may be painful but they need to be learned.
